I was particularly touched by the welcoming note left in our room, and the attentive check-in process made us feel immediately at home and valued as guests.

the so-called luxurious "spa" was just a tad above a bathtub, and i had to drag my luggage into a tiny, cramped room! to add insult to injury, the breakfast options were almost as limited as the staff's hospitality, leaving me absolutely disappointed. i almost considered giving a good review but simply couldn’t, it’s just embarrassing.

Couples looking for relaxation
The bed was huge and so comfy, it felt like lying on a cloud. We enjoyed drinks in the Drawing Room, felt like our own living room, with an open fire and nice decor.
It was pricey but worth it for the experience.

I was very disappointed when I arrived at 4:30 PM only to find my room was not ready due to a wedding party's late checkout. After traveling a long distance, being forced to wait in a crowded bar area was frustrating. the lack of proper communication about room readiness only added to my disappointment with the service.

We had a lovely time with huge comfy beds and lush grounds to wander about. The breakfast was canny with plenty on offer. Bit of a letdown with the room decor though, felt a bit dated. we enjoyed our stay!

The afternoon tea served in the library was a delightful experience, with a unique selection of treats and a charming atmosphere.
There was considerable noise from the external staircase and nearby guests that disrupted our sleep during the night.

The outdoor hot tub provided a genuine escape, surrounded by nature and the relaxing atmosphere added to the experience, making for a unique place to unwind. The charming library offered a cozy retreat, perfect for curling up with a book by the fire.
Disappointingly, the cleanliness standards in the room were quite lacking, with dust and cobwebs evident in various corners. The room layout left much to be desired, with guests finding themselves in separate buildings away from the main hotel. Some amenities like working TVs and coffee makers were hit or miss. The dining experience didn’t totally meet expectations either. the offerings were upscale but overly vinegary, making it tough for some to enjoy their meals fully.

Charming escape with delightful dining
I recently enjoyed a stay in a Family Room that was perfect for our little adventure, with cozy beds and a lovely outdoor space for the kids to explore. The gourmet farm-to-table dining experience truly impressed us, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients making every dish a delight, especially during breakfast. The outdoor hot tub surrounded by nature added a unique touch to our relaxation time. a minor aspect that could be improved is the wait time for dinner reservations. ensuring clearer communication would enhance the experience even further.
